Pipe Lagging
Applications
Used primarily in the construction industry, acoustic pipe lagging consists of a foil faced barrier combined with acoustic foam.
Do you have noisy pipes in your building? Are you required to acoustically wrap the pipes in your multi dwelling development?
Watsons Noise Control can supply and install the acoustic lagging for all of the sewer and drain pipes, and the Siphonic rainwater pipe systems to the specifications of the hydraulic engineers during and after the construction phase. We only use materials made in Australia to Australian Standards.
We happily use the Thermotec product Nuwrap 5™. It is designed to meet the latest building codes and complies with BCA requirements. NuWrap 5™ Acoustic Lagging is also Green Star compliant by meeting low VOC Compliance requirements and ODP-EMI9 requirements in that there are no Ozone depleting substances used in either the manufacturing process or the material composition.
We also use Pyrotek Soundlag when specified. Pyrotek offers varying barrier weights from 3 kg/m² to 8 kg/m² with various decoupling layer thicknesses and compositions all made to BCA standards.
All work is installed using the specified installation method recommended by our suppliers using high quality templates for corners, bends, junctions and gullies. Our experience in installation means that the lagging will stay on the pipe rather than fall off after the ceilings have been installed.
