How Soundproofing Works
The first step we need to take is identifying your noise problem. Is it noise bouncing around (echo) or noise getting in or out of the room? It can also be a combination of both.

Sound bouncing around the room.
Sound getting in and/or leaving the room.
Typically absorbing products are fibrous or foam by nature. The facings of these products need to allow sound to travel through them so the core product can do its job.
We have a range of different suppliers that use various mediums to absorb the unwanted noise in your room. Acoustic Foam, Rockwool and Acoustic Polyester are available from our list of preferred Australian suppliers.
Need to combine absorption with a barrier? We have a range of Composite products that give you the best of both worlds.
Density is key when it comes to using a noise barrier. One of the original materials used in the past was lead. It was dense, cheap and flexible, but was later found to be toxic.
Newer noise barriers are made from loaded vinyl. They carry all of the characteristics of older barriers without the toxicity.
We have a range of barriers that range in density from 2kg to 8kg per square metre. All with various facings to suit the application.
Floormats have a tough hard wearing face, underlays have foam decoupling layers and the raw loaded vinyl product can be used to increase the density of walls in your home or on an enclosure around a noise source.
